Aldrich Visitor Information

The Aldrich Community:  The small town of Aldrich, MN is located on the eastern part of Wadena County, where Highway 10 and the Partridge River meet.

Aldrich is known for being the first permanent settlement in Wadena County, and for having the first Catholic Church in the area, established in 1870.

Highlights of the Aldrich community include Ted & Gen's restaurant, a post office, 3 repair shops, and a veterinary clinic.

Ted & Gen’s Bar-BQ:  Ted & Gen's is a local favorite around the area, and is the “original largest open pit bar-BQ in Minnesota.”  Holding menu options such as steaks, seafood, surf & turf, bar-BQ ribs, chicken, and dinner baskets, Ted & Gen’s has something for everyone.  They have nightly specials, and also hold dinners for special events.  Weekly hours of the restaurant are 5pm-10pm Tuesday-Saturday, and 11am-10pm on Sundays.  For more information, you can check out their website or Facebook page.  

Partridge River:  The Partridge River is a beautiful river that flows throughout Todd and Wadena Counties.  This 32.6 mile long river is a tributary of the Crow Wing, and runs beside the town of Aldrich.
